Additionally, the application automates metadata collection by utilizing existing RDBMS database schemas. As a result, database table sources can be defined quickly and easily at the touch of a button, and data can be processed directly from the RDBMS without requiring staging files or flat-file exports of the data.

Finally, as with the entire application, the open architecture allows the user to add new Data Access Components where required and make them available for use in the application by other users.

Data Transformation

iWorks' data Transformer facilitates data transformation functions through dozens of flexible Business Process Components and Data Process Components. These individual Business Process Components and Data Process Components consist of the most popular business operations in transforming data to the target format in an accurate and reliable manner.
